The Smooth Jazz Cruise 2021

"The Greatest Party At Sea" will move to a land based experience for 2021

Where: Live in Las Vegas

When: February 28, 2021 - March 5, 2021

  • 5 DAYS. 5 NIGHTS.

The Smooth Jazz Cruise will not sail in '21, but we can still come together and enjoy The Greatest Party at Sea!

For the past 17 years, The Smooth Jazz Cruise has ruled the high seas bringing the finest “smooth jazz” shows to fans all over the world. Learning that we would not be “at sea” in ’21, The Smooth Jazz Cruise will take up residency at Las Vegas’ Famous Encore Resort and the Encore Theater from Sunday, February 28 through Friday, March 5, 2021.

The result is The Smooth Jazz Cruise: Live In Las Vegas, a “smooth jazz” experience like no other, featuring the stars of the genre, exciting events, and world-class accommodations. Our goal is to replicate the excitement and special aura of our cruise programs but do so in the controlled and safe confines of an amazing theater.

The Smooth Jazz Cruise: Live In Las Vegas is produced by Entertainment Cruise Productions, producer of The Smooth Jazz Cruise, in association with SiriusXM’s Watercolors channel. AMAZING LINEUP

The hallmark of The Smooth Jazz Cruise has been its commitment to assembling the very best musicians and providing them with a truly professional and exciting venues and formats to display their talents. The Smooth Jazz Cruise: Live In Las Vegas is no exception!

The lineup features host Marcus Miller, comic Alonzo Bodden, Jonathan Butler, Dave Grusin, Lee Ritenour, Lisa Fischer, Eric Darius, Mindi Abair, Eric Marienthal, DW3, Arlington Jones, Patches Stewart and many more……

Eric Marienthal will serve masterfully as the Music Director and old friend Dane Butcher will handle many of the emcee duties. SHOW FORMAT

(NEW!) Additional Artists A few of our "usual suspects" were unable to commit to the event at this time due to prior obligations in Las Vegas. We are working on ways to include them in the shows and will be announcing more in the days to come.

Encore (also called Encore at Wynn Las Vegas) is a Five Star luxury resort, casino and hotel located on the Las Vegas Strip. The resort is connected to its sister resort, Wynn Las Vegas; both are owned by Wynn Resorts and located on the site of the old Desert Inn Resort.

The resort includes 18 restaurants, nine bars and lounges, three shopping esplanades, five pools, two salons, two spas, a golf course, and both Wynn and Encore casinos. Encore is generally regarded as the most luxurious resort and hotel in Las Vegas.

Encore and Wynn Las Vegas collectively hold more Forbes Travel Guide Five Star awards than any other resort and casino in the world.

In 2020, they were named the second-largest and largest FTG Five Star resorts in the world, respectively. Encore has also been awarded the AAA Five Diamond Award every year since opening.

The Tower Suites at Encore and The Spa have both received the Forbes Travel Guide Five Star award. Together, with the adjacent Wynn Las Vegas, the entire Wynn complex has a total of 4,748 rooms, making it the world's seventh-largest hotel.

All rooms at Encore are considered suites. The rooms we are offering range from 740 sq. ft. to 1,300 sq. ft. and include separate sitting areas. For reference, a Sky Suite on our Celebrity Cruise ship is 251 sq. ft. and a Royal Suite is 538 sq. ft., so the smallest available room at Encore is 3X the size of a Sky Suite and 125% larger than a Royal Suite.

(NEW!) We have added a category of rooms at Wynn, which is immediately adjacent and connected to Encore. These rooms are 640 sq. ft. in size and luxuriously appointed. Not being in the Encore, where every room is a suite, this category, which comes with the same Event Package as the Encore suites, is less expensive (see A Wynn-Win Limited Time Room Option!).
