This cruise began as a 7-day birthday cruise with KJ and another couple. After several cruises KJ noticed that for the most part, they were the only people of color on the entire ship. Even though they enjoyed the cruises, he knew that he could make this cruise more culturally diverse and balanced. The following year KJ returned with 20 friends and family members, and so began The Grown and Sexy Cruise.
