We’re excited to announce that Black Boat Weekend 2026 is officially set for July next year!
In 2025, our first-ever event at Lake Norman (Charlotte, NC area) brought out close to 500 people on the water and thousands of attendees overall. The energy and support were incredible!
For 2026, the event will be completely FREE for everyone to attend.

The 3rd Annual Black Boaters BIMINI BASH has been scheduled for May 29 - June 1, 2025. The boating caravan will sail 50 miles east of South Florida, to the island of Bimini in the beautiful Caribbean nation of the Bahamas.
In 2023, we made our first journey to Bimini by boat as an organized group. This also marked the 1st time in history that a group of Black Boaters made the crossing. The Black Boaters Bimini Bash is an initiative to establish and build relationships amongst Black Boaters and to use our networking power to support the local people of Bimini.
This year’s bash will begin on Thursday, May 29th, returning on Sunday June 1, 2025. (Please note that this event is private & limited to boat owning members of the Black Boaters of SOFLO and their guests)
The Bimini Bash is scheduled to depart from various South Florida inlets on Thursday, May 30, 2024. We will connect at a rendezvous spot (TBD) and then make our way to the Resorts World Bimini.
The return trip is planned for Sunday, June 2nd, around noon, ensuring that participants have ample time to enjoy their weekend on the water. (Boat Owners Only)
